  1. Introduction
    1. We, Tip Tales Pte. Ltd. (“Tip Tales”, “we”, “us”, “our”) take our responsibilities under personal data protection laws including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”) seriously. We may collect, use, disclose, and/or process Personal Data (defined below) in various ways, such as in connection with the access and use of our website, and third party platforms that we provide our services on (“the Services”) by you and/or that of any member of your family who is a minor such as your child (“the User”), or in connection with employment purposes.
    2. This Privacy Policy (“the Policy”) is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use, and/or disclose the Personal Data in compliance with the PDPA.
    3. Where we refer to “Personal Data”, we mean data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.
    4. In relation to the Services, by using or accessing the Services, you agree to be legally bound by the Policy and you agree to comply with its terms. It is important that the Policy is read together with any other applicable terms of use (including the Terms of Use for the Services) relating to the Services and/or notices that we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting, using, disclosing, and/or processing Personal Data.

  9. data generated from the use of the Services, which includes information provided to us through the use of the Services, such as search terms entered into search fields, and comments and other information posted through our interactive online features;
  10. marketing and communications data, which includes interests, feedback, communications with us relating to the Services, survey responses, preferences in receiving marketing materials from us and communication preferences, as well as preferences for particular products or services;
  11. technical data used to access our Services, which includes the Internet Protocol (IP) address, the internet device identity or media access control address of the device, information regarding the manufacturer, model or operating system of the device; and,
  12. any other information that you provide directly and voluntarily, including any message you send to us by email and/or by contacting our customer service.

  19. to manage any participation in our promotions, surveys, events or other marketing campaigns organised by us;

  22. to process a potential employee’s job application when you apply for a job with us;

  25. to communicate any change to our policies;
  26. to administer, operate, provide, maintain and protect our business and the Services (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting and hosting of data), as well as ensuring that unauthorised users do not access the information on the Services;
  27. to comply with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority;
  28. to contact the individual in relation to any of the above.

    1. Our use of your Personal Data for the Purposes listed above may continue to apply even in situations where your relationship with us has terminated or been altered in any way (for example, when you terminate your account), for a reasonable period thereafter (including, where applicable, for legal purposes or as required by law).
    2. Promotional offers and marketing
      1. If you have provided us with your contact details, you may receive periodic mailings, calls or faxes from us with information about new products and services or upcoming events. We will always obtain your consent to direct marketing communications where we are required to do so by law, and if we intend to disclose a User’s Personal Data to any third party for such marketing.

      1. We use cookies to provide you with a personalised experience on the Services. We will not disclose Personal Data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use unless we have obtained your express consent to do so, and pursuant to executing confidentiality agreements with such unaffiliated third parties. We also require all third parties to respect the security of your Personal Data, and to treat it in accordance with prevailing laws.

    1. The protection of your Personal Data matters to us. Although there is no way that we can absolutely guarantee the security of Personal Data, we are committed to protect Personal Data in our possession or under our control by making reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal, or similar risks, and the loss of any storage medium or device on which Personal Data is stored.
    2. You are responsible for keeping your login information and passwords confidential.
  5. Retention of Personal Data
    1. We only retain Personal Data for as long as the account with us is active, and only for the duration necessary to fulfil the various purposes outlined above, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.
    2. In some circumstances, we may anonymise the Personal Data (so that it can no longer be associated with an individual) for research or statistical purposes, in which case, we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

    1. Where there is a need for us to transfer Personal Data to a country outside of Singapore, we will take steps to ensure that such transfer is carried out in compliance with the PDPA.

    1. We provide you with the option to exercise certain controls and choices regarding our collection, use and disclosure Personal Data. In accordance with applicable laws, such control and choices include:

Access to and correction of Personal Data: If you wish to (i) access the Personal Data that we hold about you, or information about the ways in which we use or disclose your Personal Data, or (ii) correct or update any of your and/or your child’s Personal Data that we may hold, you may submit an access or correction request via email to our Data Protection Officer at the email address provided below.
  9. Withdrawal of consent: You may at any time withdraw your and/or your child’s consent to the further use of your and/or your child’s Personal Data. However, withdrawing your consent may result in our inability to provide you and/or your child with the Services, or prevent you and/or your child from engaging in certain activities. Third party websites

    1. Our Services may contain links to other third party websites. These third party websites are not covered by the Policy, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these websites. Browsing and interaction on these third party websites, including websites which have a link on the Services, are subject to those websites’ own terms and policies.

Collection of personal data from children

    1. We process Personal Data of children under the age of 13, according to applicable law and as described in this Policy. In particular, we only process Personal Data of children under the age of 13 will only be processed with their parent’s or guardian’s consent. If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide us with your Personal Data unless your parent or guardian provides us with consent to the processing of your Personal Data.
    2. If you are a parent or guardian whose child under the age of 13 has provided us with Personal Data, and you would like to access, correct or delete this information from our records, you may submit such request via email to our Data Protection Officer at the email address provided below.

Governing law and Jurisdiction

    1. The use of the Services, and the Policy, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the terms of the Policy, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of Singapore.
